Twitter Opera: Day 2.5 - The Tweets Take Us to the Desert

So, what's happened to the Twitter Opera? Well, after some more bird / cat / millions of pigeons (I know they're birds too, but  ... well ... ) action, it looks like we've got to the end of  what I suppose we could call the 'sung overture' with William being carried into the sky to who-knows-where, which sounds a little Wagnerian, frankly...

Then, from nowhere, those nice people at San Jose Opera have picked the storyline up from London's Covent Garden and taken us all the way over to Boston with a swift 140-character intervention. After that, the woman  (who still doesn't have a name - I vote for Ernestine) wishes herself the rest of the way around the world to "anywhere but here", hoping to arrive in France or Spain or the Serengeti.

Meanwhile, Hans and the ginger cat are being mysteriously silent.

So, where next? Does Hans want to go anywhere with the woman? Has William gone off to the Land of the Pigeons? What is the woman actually called? It's all up to you.

And finally, sorry to people who are finding this a bit confusing. It's all a bit of an experiment. We've been suggesting that people tweet to @youropera, but we've had a suggestion that it would be better tweeting to a hashtag. What does everyone think? I think we might need some Twitter Experts to help us out.

More anon.
