The Royal Shakespeare Company's Richard II starring David Tennant is now available to buy on DVD and Blu-ray.

The release marks a new partnership between the RSC and Opus Arte, the Royal Opera House’s multi-platform arts production and distribution company.

Opus Arte, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Royal Opera House, released its first DVD in June 2001 and has grown rapidly to become one of the world's leading providers of high-quality classical music content. As well as releasing many Royal Opera House productions on DVD and Blu-ray each year, the label also works with other leading arts organizations such as Glyndebourne, La Scala, Paris Opera Ballet, and the Bayreuth Festival.

This new collaboration with the RSC will see the release of their Live from Stratford-upon-Avon series on DVD and Blu-ray. The hugely successful production of Richard II, directed by Royal Shakespeare Company Artistic Director Gregory Doran, is the first in this series.

Richard II is available to buy both online and from the Royal Opera House Shop.
