The Royal Opera House Production Park... Is Coming!
Hello, my name is Stephen Spencer and I’m the Director of the new Royal Opera House Production Park, that will open in Purfleet, Thurrock, Essex, at the end of 2010. I will have lots to tell, ask and share as the park develops. It will be a wonderful new creative melting pot with the Royal Opera House Production Workshops, and the New National Skills Academy for the Creative & Cultural industries, at its heart.
Also at its heart is the remarkable collection of buildings comprising High House Farm, dating back to Tudor times and providing a stunning piece of rural heritage in this most industrial of landscapes. Here will be a place to unwind, be inspired, learn new skills and drink great coffee – all essential components in the creative process! Most importantly it will be a place for everyone.
