Royal Ballet Principal Steven McRae is the subject of a new book by photographer and Royal Ballet First Artist Andrej Uspenski.

Steven McRae: Dancer in the Fast Lane follows Steven over a period of 12 months and features more than seventy colour images taken from the wings, in rehearsal and during performances at the Royal Opera House.

Steven McRae joined The Royal Ballet in 2003 and was promoted to Principal in 2009. His repertory spans classical and contemporary works from MacMillan and Ashton to Ratmansky and McGregor.

The book follows Andrej's previous publications Dancers and Natalia Osipova: Becoming a Swan. Both are available from the ROH Shop.

Steven McRae: Dancer in the Fast Lane  will be published in June 2014.
