From today, The Royal Opera (@TheRoyalOpera) and The Royal Ballet (@TheRoyalBallet) now have their own Twitter feeds, ‘sub-accounts’ of the main @RoyalOperaHouse feed. Following feedback from our social media following, we’ve created these accounts to allow users to filter – if they wish – by art form (don’t worry, even if you follow all three you won’t see the same tweet more than once). From now on, messages specific to either Company, such as casting information or live-tweets like our upcoming Lauren Cuthbertson Q&A will be tweeted on their accounts with the main @RoyalOperaHouse feed sharing information about both, as well as additional ‘off-stage’ information:
- @RoyalOperaHouse – Main feed
- @TheRoyalOpera – Royal Opera Company sub-feed
- @TheRoyalBallet – Royal Ballet Company sub-feed
We hope that you find these changes useful, but let us know if you have any feedback.
