There's a very different dining experience available for the performance of Judith Weir's Miss Fortune on Friday 23 March at 7.30pm.
Taking our inspiration from the production's kebab van (staffed by Noah Stewart as Hassan), we're offering a deal of the best available seat, kebab and a bottle of beer for just £45 meaning that you'll be able to get a prima doner, without spending a fortune.
Kebabs on offer include a lamb kofte with minted yoghurt on flatbread or the vegetarian option of a grilled vegetable and haloumi flatbread with harissa hummus. Drink options include a bottle of Kronenbourg or a soft drink.
Miss Fortune is Judith Weir's take on a Sicilian folk tale, about the daughter of a rich family who turns her back on wealth to make her own way in the world – too often with unfortunate results. The production stars Royal Opera favourites Emma Bell, Anne-Marie Owens and Jacques Imbrailo as well as rising star Noah Stewart. Miss Fortune's striking designs are by Chen Shi-Zheng (who worked with Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett on Monkey: Journey to the West).
