James Hay wins Audience Choice Award at Erik Bruhn Prize
Royal Ballet Soloist receives award at National Ballet of Canada Competition.
Royal Ballet Soloist James Hay has won the Audience Choice Award at the Erik Bruhn Prize, given by the National Ballet of Canada.
James danced a pas de deux from Flower Festival in Genzano and Liam Scarlett’s November with Artist Francesca Hayward.
Ida Praetorius and Andreas Kaas of the Royal Danish Ballet won the judge’s prize while Alessandro Sousa Pereira, also of the Royal Danish Ballet, won the choreographic prize.
James will perform the role of Hans-Peter in The Nutcracker this Christmas.
