Inspiring Youth
I experienced some great entertainment and behind-the-scenes rehearsal atmosphere at the celebration launch event for the National Skills Academy’s first founder college in Southend last night. South East Essex College put on an uplifting display in its iconic main building. The speeches were full of passion for the NSA’s vision, and underpinning that vision were performances by students – in particular the closing numbers from ‘Into the Woods’ by Sondheim and Porter’s ‘Anything Goes’ brought the house down!
