Il trittico: A tweetworthy trio

The opening production of the 2011-12 Royal Opera season, Richard Jones’ Il trittico is sure to be a trio of treats. Puccini’s triptych is rarely performed – it hasn't been presented in full here since 1965 and as such will be one of the events of the coming year.

In celebration of this, we’ve invited Entartete Musik to takeover our Twitter feed for the evening, to bring you live coverage of events as they unfold onstage, backstage and out with the audience during the intervals. Exclusive content and insights are also on offer, making it an evening not to be missed.

You can follow goings-on at the house and get involved in the action by tweeting with the rhotacistic hashtag #iltwittico from 5.30. If you can’t wait until then, Entartete Musik will be devoting a number of blog posts to stories surrounding the three operas, their conception, music and performance history.

Happy tweeting!
