Calling all horn enthusiasts. We don't want to blow our own trumpet but you might enjoy this. Would you like to meet professional horn players of the Royal Opera House orchestra? Then come and join us, on 23 October 2011, for events and performances by the top soloists and ensembles at the Festival of Horns. Presented in collaboration with British Horn Society this will be a fun family day with workshops as well as opportunities to discover the fascinating history behind the horn.

You are even welcome to bring your own instrument and join in a session for massed horns! A Gala concert will bring an end to the day featuring ensembles from all UK's conservatoires and soloists from across the country.

More details are available from the British Horn Society website. You can book tickets online or by calling the Box Office 020 7304 4000.
