It was great to welcome the winning composers of our Fanfare Competition to the ROH for the first time this week. Working with composer Duncan Chapman and members of the Orchestra, the young finalists  (aged 11 to 16) began developing their compositions ready for the recording session with Antonio Pappano and a 43-piece orchestra in April. To hear the winning entries and to follow their progress, visit www.roh.org.uk/fanfare.
