Next week, thousands of museums, galleries and theatres around the world will be offering unique glimpses into their collections as part of #MuseumWeek, an annual celebration of art and culture run on Twitter.

Over the course of seven days, institutions will reveal secrets about their collection and offer you the chance to ask curators all your burning questions about their archives.

We'll be getting involved too, giving a behind-the-scenes look at the ROH Collections, a vast archive that chronicles the history of the three theatres on our site over nearly three centuries.

To keep in touch with the week's activities, follow the hashtag #MuseumWeek on Twitter, and to find out what we're up to, follow @RoyalOperaHouse and our Instagram account.
