The production, Carlos’s first full-length choreographic work for The Royal Ballet, features dazzling performances by Marianela Nuñez and Carlos in the roles of Kitri and Basilio.

Based on elements of the classic Spanish novel by Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote follows the adventures of a bumbling, delusional knight and his loyal squire. Carlos’s production, which features designs by Tim Hatley, lighting designs by Hugh Vanstone and music by Ludwig Minkus, is full of Spanish flair and bravura with demanding, energetic choreography.
