Cast changes: Onegin

Roles of Lensky and Prince Gremin for selected dates have been adjusted.

There have been adjustments to the advertised casting for select performances of The Royal Ballet’s Onegin.

For performances on 22 January, 25 January, 31 January and 5 February Nehemiah Kish will dance the role of Lensky.

On 26 January, 1 February, 7 February Valentino Zucchetti will dance the role of Lensky and Ryoichi Hirano will dance the role of Prince Gremin.

On 2 February (evening performance), 8 February Dawid Trzensimiech will dance the role of Lensky and Thomas Whitehead will dance the role of Prince Gremin.

All audience members who have already bought tickets will be written to in the New Year with this information.

The Royal Ballet’s Onegin runs from 19 January – 8 February.

    Why is Johannes Stepanek not in the list of those playing Lensky this year? It is very disappointing not to see his name among the cast. I am not alone in thinking that his portrayal of Lensky was one of the very best.
