ROH partner organization Balbir Singh Dance Company has announced it will tour its water-based Synchronised to regions across England.

The Huddersfield-based company will revive its large scale, pool-based performance - which originally included a cast of over 150 professional dancers, musicians,  Team GB Olympic swimmers and members of the public - in autumn 2014.  The work will be performed in Leicester, Blackburn, Burnley and London.

Synchronised was originally commissioned as part of the Cultural Olympiad celebrations and performed to a full house in Sheffield in June 2012. Balbir Singh Dance Company blends classical Indian with contemporary dance. The company will tour a triple bill of new works in 2014, as well as presenting Synchronised.
