On 1 March, Royal Opera House Insights returns to Thameside Theatre in Grays, Essex, offering a deeper look at The Royal Ballet’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Join choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, Royal Ballet dancers and members of the production team as they explore a world of tiny hedgehogs, croquet mallet flamingos, and a tap-dancing Mad Hatter.

Premiering last year, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is bursting with fresh, witty choreography and bold designs. At the insight you’ll get an exclusive glimpse at dancers rehearsing the roles that take weeks to perfect as well as hearing from the production team about the challenges of creating a balletic hit.

Nearby Purfleet is the home of High House Production Park, the home of our scenery workshops and the UK’s first ever national centre of excellence for technical skills, crafts and production for the performing arts and live music industries.

Tickets for the Insight event are currently on sale and can be purchased online or by calling the Box Office on 020 7304 4000.
