La bohème Schools' Matinee

Bring your class to the Royal Opera House for only £7.50.

Join us on 19th June 2018 at 11.30am for an exclusive Schools' performance of La bohème.

Enjoy a new production of this passionate opera. Set in bohemian Paris, Puccini’s opera brings joy, humour, love and tragedy. A firm favourite, it has been performed over 500 times at the Royal Opera House since it's first performance in 1897.

Book an extra workshop in which students will create an aria in an hour.

Find out more about the production, history and story behind La bohème.

We asked primary school students to submit their questions for Ermonela Jaho, the world-renowned Opera Singer who sang the title part in our 2016/17 Schools' Matinee performance of Madama Butterfly. Watch the film with your class to find out what life is really like as an opera singer.

We will provide full resources before your visit to help your class prepare.
