Cavalleria rusticana/ Pagliacci Schools' Matinee

29th November, 12pm, Key Stage 3 and above.

Watch the Olivier Award-winning production of this gritty, theatrical double bill of Italian opera. These two celebrated ‘verismo’ operas are stories of jealousy and obsession, richly scored and dramatically realised in these interlinked contemporary productions.

Plus, a free workshop at 10.30 to learn how to stage a scene from the opera. (Please book in advance)

We asked primary school students to submit their questions for Ermonela Jaho, the world-renowned Opera Singer who sang the title part in our 2016/17 Schools' Matinee performance of Madama Butterfly. Watch the film with your class to find out what life is really like as an opera singer.
