Insights: The Prince of the Pagodas

Join dancers and music staff of The Royal Ballet as The Prince of the Pagodas makes a long-awaited return to the repertory.

Background

MacMillan's terrific three-act fairytale ballet The Prince of the Pagodas, to Benjamin Britten's colourful score, was inspired by The Sleeping Beauty and it is one of the choreographer's most demanding works, not just for the Principals, but for the whole Company.
