When to see it
These events are part of the Autumn 2017 season.
Celebrate the work of iconic choreographer Kenneth MacMillan by dancing original choreography from some of his best-loved works. Staff of The Royal Ballet lead this fun and interactive exploration of this leading choreographer.
Do I need to have dance experience?
No. This event is introductory and is appropriate for people with no dance experience.
What to wear and bring to the class?
We recommend you wearing comfortable clothing such as tracksuit trousers or leggings. You are welcome to dance with bare feet or wear ballet shoes if you have them. Unfortunately you are not allowed to dance in socks. To avoid creating congestion in the toilets please arrive at the Royal Opera House dressed for your session.
You are welcome to bring a water bottle with you as we will not be providing refreshments.
What time should I arrive for and where am I going?
The workshop will be taking place in the Clore Studio Upstairs which Front of House staff can navigate you to upon arrival. The studio will open approximately 15 minutes before each session.
Please note this event is open to people aged 14 years and older. If you are under 16 years old you must be accompanied by a participating adult for the class.
If you have any special requirements we should be aware of, please let us know in advance. By participating you agree to do so at your own risk, so please do take care, and please only do what you feel comfortable doing, the main aim is to have fun!
We look forward to welcoming you to workshop. Please note this is a participatory event.
