An annual festival of creative performances and activities by the Royal Opera House. Events take place in Thurrock, Essex.

A creative session exploring the basics of vocal percussion or ‘beatboxing’, as well as an opportunity to write song lyrics and rap! No experience required. Participants will perform the material they create during the evening performance, so all workshop participants should be prepared to stay for the evening performance, 6-7.30pm. Workshop participants do not need to purchase a ticket for the evening performance, as this is included in their workshop ticket. The venue for this workshop is enclosed, but is more like an outdoor space. The workshop will be standing only; and please dress sensibly in case of inclement weather. Participants in this venue should be prepared for uneven and potentially damp floors. Participants in wheelchairs can be accommodated. Hot and cold drinks, along with sweets and snacks will be available for purchase, but it is recommended that participants should bring something to eat between the workshop and the concert.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult does not need to register for the workshops but must be present in the venue for the duration of the workshop. Please ensure that adequate adult supervision is provided for group bookings.
