DJ Edu takes over the Linbury Studio Theatre in a vibrant club night that showcases the most exciting underground sounds from Africa: from hip hop and R&B to dancehall and garage. DJ Edu presents Destination Africa on Radio 1Xtra, a flagship show for contemporary African music.
DJ Edu is joined by special guests Bumi Thomas and Debra Debs. Bumi Thomas is a London-based singer-songwriter whose style is inspired by her multicultural heritage. Born in Glasgow and raised in Nigeria, her music explores identity, sensuality and cross-cultural journeys. With a sound grounded in neo soul and 90s R&B, Debra Debs’s socio-conscious melodic storytelling is guaranteed to resonate on every level.
