Lyric Square, Hammersmith
Lyric Square is a new public square in the heart of the Hammersmith. Benefiting from an ideal location, it is surrounded by corporate businesses and is a transport hub for West London.
The Royal Opera’s Il trovatore | Thursday 14 July at 7.15pm with pre-performance screening from 6.45pm.
Running time approximately 3 hours with curtain down at 11pm (including intervals).

What I need to know before I attend:
Lyric Square will be open to all on Friday 3 July. Free deckchairs will be available plus a limited number of table and chairs but please feel free to bring cushions and blankets for your comfort. There will be food and drinks available from local premises; alternatively, please feel free to bring your own picnic. All litter should be disposed of in bins provided or taken home. Please dress appropriately for the anticipated weather conditions. Children must be accompanied by adults.
In the interest of public safety, the following conditions will apply in Lyric Square:
• Free entry to the event and deckchairs and tables are on a first come first served basis.
• Event stewards will be present for your safety.
• No portable barbecues.
• The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to the event for whatever reason.

How do I get there?
Nearest Tube: Hammersmith (District, Piccadilly and Hammersmith & City Line)
Buses: 27, 190, 391, H91, 266, 267, N9, N11
Walking directions: From Hammersmith Tube (District and Piccadilly line), walk out of the Broadway shopping centre towards the Hammersmith & City Line. Cross the road with the Swan Pub in front of you, walk down King Street to the left of the pub and Lyric Square is just after Pret-a-Manger on your right.
From Hammersmith Tube (Hammersmith & City Line), turn right out of the tube station along Beadon Road, Lyric Square is on your left hand side, you can cross over to it at the pedestrian crossing.
