What I need to know before I attend:

Picnic hampers are welcome! All litter should be disposed of in bins provided or taken home. Please bring cushions or blankets for comfort. This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for the anticipated weather conditions.

In the interest of public safety, the following conditions will apply in Millennium Square:

• Free entry to the event enclosure is on a first come first served basis subject to capacity.
• Event stewards will be entitled to search persons and/or their possessions on entry to the event enclosure. Staff will not take responsibility for any prohibited items.
• Prohibited items include, but are not restricted to, large parasols, gazebos, awnings and portable barbecues.
• The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to the event enclosure for whatever reason.
• All children (under 16) must be accompanied by an adult.
• You are welcome to bring a picnic, but for safety reasons, please do not bring any glass containers to the event.

How to get there

By Car: The easiest route from the M4 motorway is to exit at Junction 32, signposted Cardiff North. Join the A470 and follow signs to Cardiff city centre. Car parks can be accessed from Churchill Way/Bute Terrace.

There are many Park and Ride facilities on the outskirts of Cardiff, where you will be able to get a bus which brings you into the city centre.

By Train: Cardiff Central Rail Station is located within a short 10 minute stroll from the Big Screen. Cross St Mary Street and head for Mill Lane, which merges onto The Hayes.

By Bus: Cardiff Bus Station is located within a short 10 minute stroll from the Big Screen. Cross St Mary Street and head for Mill Lane, which merges onto The Hayes.
